The favourite comedian that every household in Nigeria,Africa and Diaspora know very well Is a year older today,the actress that has put smile on every one faces with her popular comedy TV Show Jenifa celebrate another year today.

Akindele Olufunke Ayotunde,Born in August 24, 1976,Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria.

She came to limelight after featuring in popular United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) sponsored sitcom; I NEED TO KNOW, which ran from 1998 to 2002. In 2009 she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.

Funke Akindele obtained an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Mass Communication from the former Ogun State Polytechnic, now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and got a Law degree from the
University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba.

She has more than 100 movies to her credit as actress,writer and producer.she has won many award including Africa Movie Academy Award,Africa Magic Viewers Award,Nigeria Entertainment Award and many more Awards.

Is her being signed as ambassador to Iroko TV.

Funke Akindele runs a non-governmental Organisation known as THE JENIFA FOUNDATION, whose aims and objectives involves nurturing talents and acquiring vocational skills.

Oshiomole Praises Nigerian Army For Pushing Back Boko Haram

Governor Adams oshiomole said on Tuesday that the people of the state are proud of the Nigerian armed forces to bring back peace to the state,and the country at large.
